Pick up from hotel in Chiang Mai at 8.00 am head to the south to before heading to Lumphun the oldest city of Lanna Kingdom the northern part of Thailand, Wat Pra That Haripunchai is the most important temple in Lamphun ,Elephant conservation center, see how the elephant at works daily, Lunch will be served on the way to Wat Prathat Lampang Luang, the most important temple of Lampang and Wat Doi Pra Chan the big Japanese Buddha statue temple(closed on Wed) and on the way back you will visit the most interesting local market, there are so many interesting things here to see what or how local people do shopping in this market. heading back to Chiang Mai in the evening.
